Located in
the historical city of Warangal, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India,
NITW is the first among 17 NITs (RECs) started to promote technical excellence
in an atmosphere of cultural and ethinic diversity. NITW offers quality
technical education and is ranked among the top Engineering institutions
in India. Established in 1959, it is jointly funded by the Govt. of India
and the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The mission of NITW Alumni Americas' chapter is the betterment of the college by providing equipment to the college, by funding scholarships to the students, by developing a social network and so on.
